A Few Photos From the Midwest Catholic Family Conference this Year
The rosary quilt with prayers to end abortion was on display and was blessed by Fr. Frank Pavone.
Fr. Frank Pavone celebrated the Holy Mass and is seen here giving one of his rousing homilies. He also gave a wonderful talk which I attended entitled “Mary, Our Mother, at the Beginning and End of Life.” Priests for Life Voters’ Guide to the 2008 Presidential Election can be found here.
There were many more great speakers. I was busy working as a volunteer for different activities at the conference, so I didn’t have much time to take a lot of notes or to visit with speakers, but in addition to hearing Rebecca Dussault and Fr. Frank Pavone, I was also able to to hear at least one of the talks from: Teresa Tomeo, who will be returning later this month for a Catholic radio fundraiser, and Jim Stenson. They gave wonderful talks and I hope to see both of them again.
I am not sure how many people were in attendance, but was told that the number was greater than last year.
