I like children, but isn’t this a bit ridiculous?

Fertility treatments are inconsistent with God’s plans. If she really wants a child so badly, why doesn’t she consider adoption? Yes, her age might be a deterrent, but if she is in good health and well – off, which she apparently is, one would think they would make an exception in her case. Also, if she adopted an older child, the child wouldn’t be left without a parent at such a young age. Many grandparents today are raising their grandchildren.
